Wow! I bet you weren't expecting a journal from me. It's 2 am and I can't sleep and I was bored as well. So I decided to check my deviantart. I've been away for so long I was somewhat dreading it. I know I had plans in the past on here to become more involved, post more journals, update my gallery more, make more prints available, post more news articles. But, I have definitely become the opposite of more active. In fact, deviantart in general looks a lot different from the last time I checked it. I was extremely ill from September til February.

I left you off on the last update with me feeling somewhat better and trying to catch up with classes. Well, to sum things up: I became ill again/worse in December, ended up taking late withdrawals from school, moving home to my parents, and taking a break. I am feeling better now, they never figured out what was wrong, and I will be starting school again this coming Thursday. I haven't really been out and about much and Nebraska's winter this year hasn't been very photogenic anyways so I don't feel as if you're missing out on much in my lack of gallery updates.

It is totally not an understatement that I haven't been out much. I seriously haven't been interacting with people and I kind of have grown to like it. I seem to get more things done this way, and spend way less money. Haha. Kinda sad, I know, but whatever. As I said, I'll be starting classes this coming Thursday. Just three classes two days a week. They're back to back though (five minutes apart) for eight hours. So it'll be an intense two days.

I'm sure many of you know how much fun finding a job is right now. I've basically given up for the time being and will just concentrate on these classes. Maybe some nice opportunity will spring up by summer. Yes, I know 20 hour a week minimum wage jobs aren't hard to find, but I'm looking for something full time that would allow me to afford a car and some savings. Considering that in this job market I'm competing against people with more years of experience than years I've been alive, my prospects look pretty grim.

In relation to deviantart though, since I'll be getting out more and the weather will hopefully be warming up at least in little bouts (I took my dog for a walk this week when it was sixty degrees. Too bad it's gonna be cold and snowing tomorrow) I might pull out my camera again. It's been a while. Unless you count my self-portraits. Might upload one or two for you tonight just because I haven't updated in a while. I might be going on a jaunt outdoors next weekend as well and I"ll definitely bring my camera with me.

Also, since I've been away from dA, I've acquired over 3000 messages and 2000 deviations in my watchlist. I'm sorry but I'd prefer to try to check this from here on out instead of catching up so I won't be viewing everything that's just overwhelming. If there's something in particular that you've posted in the last few months that you are proud of or would like me to check out (news article, journal, deviation, whatever) link it here please.

I've gotten into more hands-on arts and crafts as of late. Sadly, I have not been taking photos of them. Been doing some painting of cute little ceramics and making some collage booksmarks. They aren't very remarkable but they are fun for me I've also seriously considered picking up my cornet again. I dont' think it's left it's case in over a year. That might be an adventure to wait on. There's just so much stuff I'd like to do or work on I end up getting overwhelmed when I think about it or so indecisive or so overcome by the amount of things to do and the lack of time to do it I just wish I could do more things at once. I love sleep too, so there's no way I'm gonna give up sleep to work on other things. Haha. I also love computer games, whether just like on msn games and simple or world of warcraft. I just have too many hobbies I guess. I promise this year I'll finish something though. Some sort of project. Don't know what though, but I just want to feel like I've done something or completed something on my massive to do list. The to do list in my head that is, if I wrote it down I think I'd be too boggled by it.

Well this was kind of a rambling journal that was just meant to be a little shout out to let you know that I'm still here. So hello again, deviantart!
